Coming from work or school?
Join us for a time and worship and study. Refreshments are provided to keep you energized as we examine a select book from the Bible.  We pray that as you receive God’s Word, you will be empowered by His Spirit to live out His Word.

Rooted in Scripture.

Here are a handful of scriptures that define our approach to the bible and to fellowship.

John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

This is our theme verse. Our desire is to abide in Christ, that is to remain connected to him so that the good fruit of blessing can flow through our lives and we can accomplish His will.

Acts 2:42
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

The early church gathered together and followed these priorities for spiritual growth. We model The Vine after the same balanced approach for sound doctrine, growing in community and prayer.

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

The Bible is the inspired word of God, and it is essential for us to learn the word and to allow it to shape our view of the world.

Acts 20:27-28
For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

We believe walking through scripture verse-upon-verse and precept-upon-precept is the best way to carefully examine God's word and to receive the full counsel of God.

Romans 10:17
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

We examine the word of God to grow in our faith and become equipped to understand and share our faith with others, so that they can also be saved and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
